Especially after all these gorgeous deep winter colors, some fruity amazingness is totes refreshing…💧Did you know? Peaches were mentioned in Chinese writings as far back as the 10th century BC and were a favored to be the fruit of kings and emperors. 👋 First let me say, that there are two items that I’m wearing in this pic that I NEED to use way more frequently because they are 💣💣💣…ever have something you love and all of a sudden you rediscover it? …and you’re like daaaammnnn…I luv dis! (1) Unbelievably my least used lippie is spacecake from @meltcosmetics! Waaaa? Am I ok? 🙆 This lip color is grey, ultra matte, vibrant, vanilla cake smelling dopeness! And they’re cruelty free too! 🐶🐱🐭(2) Glasses are @eco_optics who believe we should look good, feel good and do good. Eco is the only eyewear brand in the world made of 95% recycled materials. Eco plants a tree for every frame sold and they have planted 791,202 trees in Cameroon to date! Their one million trees target is right in front of them! Such a cool concept…dig it…

I chose to do the gorgeous and inspiring Tess Munster @tessholiday from her Simply Be @simplybeusa photo shoot that featured romantic eyes and glossy ruby lips…

Did you know? Tess Munster is a Plus-Size Model, Make Up Artist, Body Positive Activist and Blogger based in L.A., who turned her hobbies into a successful career.
What Tess loves most about her careers is the ability to inspire and empower women around the world. From transformations with makeup, building confidence through modeling, and advocating body size acceptance, her fans have been the best part of her journey. She recently founded the @effyourbeautystandards movement which has truly changed her life. She receives letters and emails from different women every day thanking her for empowering them to love their bodies, and to not be ashamed of being short, pale/dark, or dare I say…Fat. Being a plus size girly myself who loves many of the same things, you can totally see why I love me some Tess!!! Check her out, you’ll love her too…

I chose Green Lantern because I love that he is famous for the oath he recites when he charges his ring and how the power of the ring is accessed. Originally, the oath was: “…and I shall shed my light over dark evil.For the dark things cannot stand the light,The light of the Green Lantern!” The effectiveness of the ring is tied to the wearer’s willpower. A Green Lantern with strong willpower is at their best…we all need a lil’ willpower no?

Did you know? Glittering surfaces have been found to be used since prehistoric times in the arts and in cosmetics. The modern word “glitter” comes from glitra in Old Norse through Middle English. However, as early as 30,000 years ago, mica flakes were used to give cave paintings a glittering appearance. Prehistoric humans are believed to have used cosmetics, made of powdered hematite, a sparkling mineral. Cool huh?
