Autism Awareness Butterfly Facepaint-Mehron, Melt Cosmetics and nail artΒ

April is Autism Awareness month and this was my butterfly with the Autism ribbon puzzle pattern to celebrate all those special individuals who are and help those with Autism β€οΈπŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’š. The Autism Awareness Ribbon is comprised of a puzzle pattern that reflects the complexity of the autism spectrum. The different colors and shapes represent the diversity of the people and families living with the condition. The brightness of the ribbon signals hope β€” hope that through increased awareness of autism, and through early intervention and access to appropriate services/supports, people with autism will lead full lives able to interact with the world on the own terms.-The Autism Society πŸ›

Autism currently affects 1 in 68 children in the United States and millions more worldwide.

“The world is coming together with one strong voice through Light It Up Blue,” said Suzanne and Bob Wright, co-founders of Autism Speaks. β€œTogether, we must spread a message of compassion, understanding and hope for the global autism community by supporting comprehensive strategies that address their needs throughout a lifetime. Hey all! Today is all about helping others and appreciating those who help. Lex from MadeYewlook ( MadeULook ) on YouTube is a great example of someone who is representing something bigger than herself to help others. Her mission is about spreading the word about diabetes. This video is to celebrate me getting her shirt, and supporting her efforts.
I am and have long been an advocate for those with Autism and it is close to my heart. My little man has Autism and I want to spread the word so others are informed. So when this happened….
